The governor is expected to make an official announcement later today, confirming the situation is stable.
With over 80% of evacuees already packing their belongings, the atmosphere at the shelters is one of palpable relief. One resident, who had been without income for 15 days, expressed her eagerness to return home and find work. She also highlighted the loss of a cow and appealed for urgent government assistance.
The governor confirmed the province is conducting a final check before issuing a formal order. The return process could take up to three days, as the large number of evacuees includes bedridden individuals. He warned residents to be cautious of unexploded ordnance in some border areas, which have not yet been cleared to avoid potential misunderstandings with neighboring countries. The governor added that financial aid would be provided to those who lost income and suffered damage. -819 (TNA)
