Princess Bajrakitiyabha’s blood pressure remains low amid infection treatment

The medical team treating HRH Princess Bajrakitiyabha Narendira Debyavati, who lost consciousness during a cardiac incident in 2022, revealed today that the Princess still has low blood pressure, despite continuous treatment for severe blood stream infection.

Medication to support her blood pressure continues to be administered, along with antibiotics, renal replacement therapy and respiratory support.

According to their announcement, the medical team continue to monitor her condition closely and are providing intensive care.

On August 15, the team revealed that a severe infection has been detected in her bloodstream.

Since August 9, the team has been administering multiple antibiotics, as well as other medication to maintain stable blood pressure.

The Princess, the eldest daughter of HM the King and Princess Soamsawali, has been receiving treatment at the King Chulalongkorn Memorial Hospital since December 15, 2022.
