Sky-high Sundays at Ozone: a brunch with altitude and endless pours

Tatler Hong Kong

Perched on the 118th floor of The Ritz-Carlton, Hong Kong, Ozone offers what might just be the city’s most elevated Sunday ritual, in every sense. Here, panoramic harbour views meet a menu designed for indulgence, transforming brunch into a sky-high escape.

The experience opens with a chilled seafood platter: plump Gillardeau oysters, sweet Boston lobster tail, and snow crab legs presented on ice to accentuate their natural sweetness. From there, the spread continues with refined starters. Think Angus beef tartare sharpened with capers, 48-month Iberico Bellota ham carved to order, or eggs royale with silken poached eggs draped over Scottish smoked salmon.

Mains showcase the kitchen’s technical flourish: a golden-crusted Beef Wellington encasing tender Australian beef; pan-seared black cod with shatteringly crisp skin yielding to pearly flesh; and roasted Korean chicken lacquered with a gently spicy glaze.

Desserts at Ozone provide a final crescendo. The Redeemer layers dark chocolate mousse with caramelised banana and tart raspberry sorbet, while the Tropical Aviary brightens the palate with coconut mousse, pineapple-passion fruit and lemongrass cake.

To accompany the feast, Ozone offers a trio of beverage packages. Guests may opt for a non-alcoholic pairing of freshly mixed mocktails, soft drinks and juices; a classic free-flow of sparkling, white and red wines alongside beer; or Champagne anchored by Veuve Clicquot Brut Yellow Label, its fine bubbles and brioche notes a natural match for the seafood platters.

The setting is as much part of the experience as the food. Floor-to-ceiling windows frame ever-shifting views of Victoria Harbour, while clean, contemporary lines lend the dining room a sense of quiet refinement that lets both cuisine and panorama shine.

Ozone’s Sunday brunch unfolds from 12 noon to 2:30pm, priced at HK$688 per person for the menu, with beverage packages available as add-ons.
