True to DADO’s philosophy of merging architecture with nature, the house is approached via a 75-metre palm-lined boulevard. The journey feels immersive, with the villa gradually revealing itself. There’s no imposing façade—just a serene presence that integrates effortlessly with the dense forest.

Upon entering through a large pivot door, visitors are greeted by a sunlit courtyard, the central feature of the home. From here, interconnected spaces flow naturally, fostering a strong indoor-outdoor connection. Large verandahs, transitional courtyards, and expansive openings ensure that nature is always part of the experience.

The design prioritises simplicity, with materials like lime-plastered walls, sandstone floors, natural wood, and rubble stone creating a raw yet refined aesthetic. This neutral palette ensures the surrounding greenery takes centre stage. Sustainability is thoughtfully woven into the home’s design, with features such as natural ventilation, shaded courtyards, and passive cooling making it energy-efficient in Goa’s tropical climate.

A standout feature of the design is the thoughtful relocation of a tree originally on the site. Now central to the living space, it symbolises the delicate balance between architecture and nature.

The home is designed for connection and comfort. Casual living and dining spaces surround the courtyard, with built-in seating and natural textures inviting relaxation. The lounge and pool patio encourage social gatherings, while the bar area is built around another preserved tree.
