The Singapore EDITION: Edition's First Southeast Asia Hotel Features Lush Greenery, Striking Architecture and Colour

Singapore, a captivating and vibrant city, impresses with its small size but remarkable offerings. The EDITION hotel in Singapore introduces original and unforgettable experiences that redefine luxury and lifestyle.

Designed by Ian Schrager and Cap Atelier, this 204-room hotel combines the energy of a major city with a warm-weather resort vibe. The architecture and interior design prioritise access to nature, with sweeping vistas and greenery integrated throughout. Guests are greeted by a stunning white-marbled lobby, featuring a domed ceiling covered in gold leaf and floor-to-ceiling windows sheathed with plantation louvres. Each level of the hotel offers a unique experience, such as the eye-catching Lobby Bar with its pink velvet interior, rose-coloured marble pool table, and Lalique-inspired crystal decanters.

Adjacent to the lobby is FYSH at EDITION, a high-ceilinged, timber-lined restaurant led by renowned chef Josh Niland. This acclaimed Australian restaurateur's first restaurant outside of Australia offers a sustainable seafood-focused steakhouse menu along with responsibly sourced vegetables and meats. The main dining room features a custom-made green Antico Verde marble bar, jade-coloured velvet banquettes, and Calacutta white marble tables, accommodating 80 guests.

For those looking to continue their evening, a discreet side-door leads to the adjacent Punch Room, an iconic bar concept of EDITION that has become a global brand in itself. The intimate bar is enveloped in a luxurious shade of Yves Klein blue, with oak panels adorning the walls and ceilings. A stunning blue ceiling pendant by Parisian artist Eric Schmitt and a stone fan-shaped floor mosaic further enhance the intimate ambiance, reminiscent of a classic London gentleman's club with a modern twist.
The spacious guest rooms unfold over six well-lit floors, all tastefully decorated with warm white rugs and custom-made white oak-planked flooring for an inviting atmosphere. To add a touch of elegance, decorative pots of orchids are placed strategically throughout the rooms. Thick drapes hanging from the broad bay windows provide privacy and frame the beautiful views from outside.

The Singapore EDITION boasts a stunning swimming pool and rooftop terrace. The pool, accessible through The Roof bar, stretches 43-metres and appears to float like a white space vessel over the garden courtyard nine floors below. The rooftop terrace features vast stone areas and landscaping, creating a unique outdoor oasis. Swimmers will be surprised to discover a transparent acrylic oculus embedded in the pool's white-tiled base, offering surreal views into the garden courtyard below.

The Roof, with its terracotta and blue colour scheme, provides a semi-al fresco setting surrounded by lush greenery. Guests can relax on sunbeds or in shaded dining areas while enjoying Southeast Asian favourites. As the tropical evenings set in, the atmosphere transforms into a place for sipping classic cocktails infused with tropical flavours.
