Set sail with Sip Trip, Cruise’s latest cocktail journey
Embark on a spirited voyage through Hong Kong’s storied islands with Cruise Restaurant & Bar’s rooftop cocktail programme, Sip Trip: Ship & Sail. Conceived by bar manager Umesh Mall and the Cruise mixology team, the menu continues the Sip Trip tradition of locally inspired creations, presenting nine inventive cocktails that pay homage to island lore and landmarks. Designed to pair seamlessly with Cruise’s bold modern Asian cuisine and panoramic views of Victoria Harbour, each drink captures a sense of place with both flavour and flair.
Highlights include the Tai O Mary (HK$118*), a briny, spiced interpretation with dark rum, clarified tomato and shrimp paste; the Mango Mochi (HK$128*), featuring mango vodka, melon juice and a playful mango mochi foam inspired by Cheung Chau’s beloved treat; and the Rocky Gimlet (HK$118*), a refreshing blend of kaffir lime gin, elderflower liqueur, pandan cordial and yuzu soda that nods to Grass Island’s natural heritage. True to Cruise’s ethos of “expect the unexpected,” the new menu doubles as a playful keepsake, complete with fun facts about Hong Kong’s islands and a nostalgic origami challenge inviting guests to fold their own paper boat.
