3 killed, 2 injured in central China fire
CHANGSHA, Sept. 12 (Xinhua) -- Three people were killed and two others injured after an environmental technology company caught fire Friday in Xiangxiang City, central China's Hunan Province, according to local emergency and firefighting authorities.
The blaze erupted around 4 p.m. and was extinguished by 4:45 p.m., the authorities said.
The injured are currently receiving medical treatment. An investigation into the cause of the accident is underway. ■
