U.S. tariffs could push 650,000-875,000 Americans into poverty: Yale report

The new 2025 U.S. tariffs will increase the number of Americans living in poverty by between 650,000 and 875,000 (between 0.2 and 0.3 percent of the U.S. population), the Budget Lab at Yale University estimated.
