Swiss premium chocolatier Läderach has arrived in Hong Kong, unveiling its debut flagship boutique at K11 Musea last month. Founded in 1962 in Glarus, Switzerland, Läderach has built a global reputation for its commitment to freshness and quality. The brand's expansion into Hong Kong follows successful ventures across Europe, North America and Asia, with the K11 Musea location representing its first foray into the city's competitive luxury retail landscape.

The flagship store has been conceived as an immersive journey into Swiss chocolate culture. At its centre, vibrant slabs of Läderach's signature FrischSchoggi—meaning "fresh chocolate" in Swiss German—are displayed on open counters and broken by hand before customers' eyes. This theatrical presentation forms the cornerstone of the Läderach experience, transforming chocolate purchasing into performance art.

Hong Kong chocolate enthusiasts can now discover the brand's extensive range, including 29 varieties of handcrafted pralines and truffles, each meticulously created in Ennenda, Switzerland. The FrischSchoggi collection features standout flavours such as caramelised hazelnuts, almond slivers and pistachios set in fresh milk and dark chocolate, alongside the strawberry curd variety, which combines airy white chocolate with curd, crushed strawberries and fruit slices.

Adding to the boutique's allure is the exclusive Hong Kong debut of Läderach's alcohol-filled chocolates. The store also features the brand's chocolate-coated popcorn, caramelised in small batches and finished with a silky Swiss chocolate coating.

Brought to Hong Kong by Valiram Group, the luxury retail specialist behind brands including Michael Kors, Swarovski and Godiva, Läderach's arrival signals growing appetite for premium European artisanal products in the city. Following the K11 Musea opening, the brand has furthered expanded with a location at Hong Kong International Airport, bringing Swiss chocolate excellence to international travellers.

The flagship store is located at 117 & LA102, 1/F, K11 MUSEA, and welcomes visitors daily from 11am to 9pm.
