Aura Edition’s design philosophy revolves around the seamless blend of aesthetics and practicality, with a strong belief that interior spaces should not only look beautiful, but also serve their intended functions effectively. This belief drives the company to create unique and bespoke designs tailored to the individual needs and tastes of its clients.
The company’s approach is rooted in the idea of being unbound and open- minded. It embraces a wide variety of elements and materials, allowing it to explore different textures and colours. This openness enables the team to craft environments that evoke specific feelings and vibes, ensuring each space is a true reflection of the clients' personalities and lifestyles.

Could you describe your design philosophy, and how it came about?

The inspiration for our design philosophy emerged from a desire to break free from conventional design constraints. We recognised that many interior spaces lacked the warmth and character that come from thoughtful design. By prioritising versatility and creativity, we sought to redefine the way interiors are perceived and experienced.

This philosophy has evolved through years of experience and collaboration with diverse clients, and a passion for innovative design. Each project we undertake is an opportunity to push boundaries, explore new materials, and create spaces that resonate with both beauty and functionality.

Which project(s) are you most proud of this year?

The Bel-Air residential project.

What's your go-to spot in Hong Kong that inspires you the most creatively?

Repulse Bay is a prime source of inspiration for me, thanks to its beachside coffee shops that provide a cosy atmosphere for sipping coffee while enjoying stunning views. The friendly locals and dog walkers add to the welcoming vibe, making it easy to connect with others. Watching the beautiful sunsets offers a serene way to unwind, while the relaxed environment allows me to escape the crowded city and find space for creativity. The natural beauty of the beach and mountains creates an ideal backdrop for brainstorming and design inspiration.

What's next for your company?

We aim to enhance our online presence through a revamped website and active engagement on social media platforms. This will allow us to showcase our work and reach a wider audience. We hope online marketing will bring us larger-scale projects, including commercial spaces and public interiors, to showcase our design capabilities on a broader platform.
