Spanning nearly 7,000 square feet, Muni occupies a prime ground-floor corner unit in the Nordelec, a heritage building dating back to 1913. The industrial backdrop of exposed brick, raw concrete, and steel beams sets the tone for a space that’s equal parts edgy and inviting. The design cleverly balances the building's raw industrial charm with warm, sophisticated touches: think deep green tones, natural oak finishes, and playful nods to classic golf textures like checkered light fixtures and grass-patterned carpets.

The layout is built for flow and function. Guests enter through a striking double-height entry zone with a retail area for golf apparel and equipment, anchored by a sleek reception desk clad in green oak veneer. From there, a central corridor organizes the club into distinct zones.

On one side, you’ll find seven private golf simulator lounges, each designed as a semi-private retreat. Plush banquettes, high-top tables, and recessed seating areas make these lounges perfect for both casual play and socializing. The last lounge features three simulators, ideal for larger groups or events, while subtle design details—like ambient checkered light fixtures—enhance the club’s sports-oriented aesthetic.

On the other side of the corridor, Muni’s full-service restaurant and bar steal the show. Southern-inspired dishes, including mac and cheese, fried chicken, and shrimp and grits, offer a rare treat for Montrealers and add a unique culinary twist to the venue. Elevated banquette seating in deep green and navy stripes, a communal dining table, and intimate booths create a vibrant, social atmosphere.

At its heart, the bar features an angular design with integrated TV screens, ensuring you don’t miss a moment of the action. Large televisions are also strategically placed throughout the space, blending seamlessly into the design while keeping the club’s sports-centric energy alive.

For private events or a different perspective, a small mezzanine overlooks the main club area, offering an elevated vantage point. There’s even a secondary entrance connecting Muni to the rest of the Nordelec building, adding convenience for those arriving from within the complex.

A monumental light box in deep green wood welcomes guests at the reception, while soft, fabric-covered fixtures and custom wall sconces add warmth throughout the restaurant. In the simulator lounges, checkered light boxes suspended above the tables provide a subtle nod to golf’s iconic patterns, while minimalist chrome sconces create a cozy, home-like feel.
