Olivia Yang brings pink Pilates princess style to The Fashion Awards 2025
At this year’s British Fashion Awards, Olivia Yang’s custom pale pink gown perfectly encapsulates everything her followers love about her. The 25-year-old London-based content creator, known to her 2.4 million followers as “olafflee”, has built her career around a romantic, ultra-feminine style replete with nostalgic references.
For the evening, Yang turned to Gallello Atelier for a silk chiffon gown inspired by Audrey Hepburn’s iconic organza dress from the final scene of My Fair Lady. The design required meticulous craftsmanship, with each layer carefully draped to achieve an airy, romantic silhouette. A bow made from the same fabric completed the look, which she paired with diamonds from Smiling Rocks, her Harry Winston engagement ring and Rene Caovilla heels.
The appearance marked another milestone in Yang’s ongoing journey as a content creator, who is a key figure behind viral trends like “Pink Pilates Princess”. Tatler sits with her to talk all things fashion.

What does a typical day look like for you now as a full-time content creator in London?I’ve found this industry can be quite chaotic and fast-paced. As someone who values routine, I create structure by splitting my day into two parts. I start my mornings with movement—either gentle stretches or a Pilates class—followed by admin work and meetings until mid-afternoon.
The second half of my day is dedicated to creativity: filming, editing and bringing new ideas to life. I’m also fortunate to be invited to many wonderful events, which I fit into my schedule as they arise.
If we opened your wardrobe right now, what percentage would actually be pink? And what’s the one colour that would surprise your followers?I’d say around 50% of my wardrobe is pink. I love having at least one pink element in my outfit; it makes me feel confident and gives me a sense of comfort. But I do genuinely enjoy experimenting with other colours too. I think the biggest surprise would be how many black pieces I own. It’s such a versatile colour and so easy to dress up or down, especially on days when I can’t decide what to wear.

What’s the one make-up product you’d genuinely panic if it were discontinued?Definitely the L’Oréal Paris Infallible Setting Spray. It’s the perfect finishing touch to every make-up look. I always describe it as hairspray for your face because once it’s on, nothing budges. It keeps everything in place and prevents any transfer onto my clothes, which is extremely important for me.
The British Fashion Awards bring together industry legends and rising talents. Was there a particular moment or person from the evening that stood out to you?Anok Yai’s speech after accepting the Model of the Year award was undoubtedly the defining moment of the evening for me. I loved the way she balanced vulnerability with strength; she reminded everyone in the room that fashion is not just about aesthetics, but about culture, identity and opening doors for the next generation. She reminded the room of the broader purpose of the British Fashion Awards: to celebrate artistry while also acknowledging the work still required to shape a more inclusive and forward-thinking future.

You worked at Net-a-Porter before becoming a full-time influencer. What prompted that shift?I was already working as an influencer during my time at Net-a-Porter, and the experience taught me so much about the luxury industry and how the corporate side of fashion operates. I loved being part of that world, but over time, I felt a desire to explore my creativity more freely and challenge myself in new ways. Stepping into full-time influencing felt like the natural next step for my future.
Looking ahead, where do you see yourself in five years? Are there areas of fashion or beauty you’re eager to explore more deeply?
Over the next five years, I hope to integrate my love for fashion into every part of my work, from home and lifestyle curation to wellness. My fascination with couture and high jewellery continues to shape my creativity, and I would love to attend Couture Fashion Week one day to immerse myself in the artistry, craftsmanship and storytelling behind these remarkable pieces.
In beauty, I aspire to become the face of a global beauty campaign for one of my favourite brands and build an aesthetically driven digital media platform that educates and inspires people. I look forward to continuing my journey with the L’Oréal family and exploring new opportunities within the fragrance industry.
