Richard Mille’s new RM 63-02 Automatic Worldtimer redefines global timekeeping with an ingenious approach to simplicity. Departing from traditional crowns and pushers, the world time function is now seamlessly integrated into a rotating micro-blasted 5N red gold bezel mounted on ball bearings. With just a twist, travellers can instantly align local time with any of the 24 cities displayed on the bezel—an elegant gesture of effortless precision. A two-tone rose and burgundy 24-hour disc distinguishes day and night, ensuring legibility at a glance.

Since precision is top priority, the bezel went through a test of 5,000 full rotations to guarantee enduring reliability and a water resistance up to 30m.

Crafted in 5N red gold and titanium, Richard Mille's RM63-02 Automatic Worldtimer simplifies the adjustment of the world time function

Encased in a 47mm round case crafted in satin-finished 5N red gold and grade 5 titanium, the RM 63-02 balances sculptural elegance with ergonomic comfort, its multi-radius caseback ensuring a natural fit on the wrist. The dial reveals the moving gears of the world time mechanism as well as an oversized date at 12 o’clock indicated via two skeletonised titanium discs. The latter can be adjusted with a gold pusher at 11 o’clock.

The gold pusher at 4 o’clock allows switching of functions with ease

An aperture at 4 o’clock reveals a function selector, operated via a gold pusher, also at 4 o’clock, to switch among winding, setting, and a neutral position without damaging the crown.

Beneath the surface beats the in-house Calibre CRMA4, equipped with a red gold and titanium bidirectional rotor and a fast-rotating barrel offering a 50-hour power reserve. Every component is finished to the highest degree, whether it is the polished anglage, drawn edges, micro-blasted bridges with PVD and electro-plasma treatments, or the circular brushing of the wheels.
