A Rolex Testimonee since 2001, for many horologists and Roger Federer fans, the 20-time Grand Slam champion’s tennis career has also been a showcase of the watches that have graced his wrist after his most significant victories. “What sets Switzerland apart is its commitment to quality. Switzerland is recognised for its high standards and [its] unique blend of tradition and innovation,” says Federer.

Some of his most iconic timepieces include a Rolex Datejust II rhodium, blue Arabic, worn at Wimbledon in 2009 during the trophy ceremony when he defeated Andy Roddick to win his 15th Grand Slam title—marking the moment Roger Federer cemented his place in history as the most successful male Grand Slam singles player of all time.

At the 2017 Australian Open, Federer made a stunning return to the top, defeating Rafael Nadal in a thrilling five-set final. He celebrated this victory with the Rolex GMT- Master II “Batman”—featuring a striking black and blue Cerachrom bezel, it was a bold choice that reflected his powerful comeback. That same year, Federer also secured his eighth Wimbledon title without dropping a single set.

To mark this historic achievement, he wore a Rolex Datejust 41 with a slate dial and Roman numerals.

To commemorate his 20th Grand Slam title at the 2018 Australian Open, a milestone many thought he wouldn’t reach, Federer wore a truly magnificent watch: the Rolex Sky-Dweller in Oystersteel and white gold, with a bright blue dial. He’s also the owner of the “holy grail” of Rolex Daytona pieces, a Rolex Cosmograph Daytona “Platona” with a striking ice-blue dial and chestnut brown Cerachrom bezel.
