Could you describe your design philosophy, and how it came about?

Over the years, I have cultivated an approach that focuses on enriching others' lives. I use this attitude towards our interior design. With the slogan “Crafting space. Inspiring life”, I aim to encapsulate the essence of my work. I strive to inspire and make a positive impact through my designs, crafting spaces that truly embody this vision. I would say this attitude came from my in-born character, and MIW is the platform to spread it to others.

Which project(s) are you most proud of this year?

Being a retail-based design firm, we treat every residential project like our own, despite its size. This year we executed a small-home solution – “Flying Solo” – for one of our client’s first homes. Apart from the aesthetics, our team put a lot of effort into his wants and future needs. We reserved white space and implemented a smart home system, which we believe are must-haves for a new home owner to develop his own lifestyle flying solo.

What's your go-to spot that inspires you the most creatively?

I often visit Big Bay Café in Kerry Hotel for a buffet dinner when my mind gets stuck. The atmosphere and spatial settings there give me a certain privacy and a cosy feeling, allowing me to stay longer chatting. Wrapped by the warm wooden space and nice sea view, I can always refresh my mind and come up with new ideas.

What's next for your company?

We are striving to be a retail expert serving corporate clients without boundaries, and expanding our service scope from design consultancy to project management and furniture fabrications.
