From September 2025, La Petite Maison (LPM) Hong Kong unveils Déjà Vu, a cocktail menu conceived as a vintage magazine that whisks guests back to the golden age of the French Riviera.

Framed as a series of feature stories, each cocktail is presented as an article celebrating an iconic moment in Côte d’Azur lore, from the serendipitous in-flight encounter between Jean-Louis Dumas and Jane Birkin that inspired the creation of the Hermès Birkin bag, to Graham Hill’s crowning as “Mr. Monaco” after five Grand Prix victories, and Brigitte Bardot’s transformation into the ultimate St. Tropez siren as she popularised the bikini in 1946.

The magazine format extends beyond the cocktails themselves, with playful retro details such as horoscopes and crosswords, conjuring an era when Bardot and Grace Kelly defined Riviera glamour. In a pioneering twist, LPM has also introduced a mirrored menu concept: ten signature cocktails, each thoughtfully paired with a meticulously crafted non-alcoholic counterpart, ensuring every guest can share in the experience.

Among the highlights of Déjà Vu are cocktails that embody LPM’s flair for storytelling through mixology. The Birkin offers an elegant Americano twist, presented with a bespoke French silk scarf in homage to its namesake icon. The Douliou Douliou playfully reimagines the Piña Colada with coconut, pineapple, cognac, rum and champagne, served alongside a vintage Walkman that plays the beloved St. Tropez anthem. The Bikini, meanwhile, is a sunset-hued gin blend that pays tribute to the revolutionary swimwear unveiled in 1946.

Each creation unites technical precision with theatrical presentation, guiding guests on a nostalgic journey through the golden age of the Riviera. It is a showcase of LPM’s dedication to bringing Mediterranean sophistication and inventive storytelling to Hong Kong’s ever-evolving dining scene.
