寧寧表示 :「我不知道為什麼大家突然把我的話解讀得這麼負面。我最後明明說的是，無論體重多少，每個人都應該保持健康、好好吃飯，瘦不瘦根本不重要。我的重點是希望你們都能健康、好好吃、好好生活，但他們卻只無限放大那些被曲解的部分，把所有良善的心意都扭曲成負面的。」，粉絲對此強力聲援：「說得好，寧寧告訴他們！」
