Dior Beauty unveils the all-new Rouge Dior On Stage collection
In beauty, true innovation is never just about a new product—it redefines how we experience it. With Rouge Dior On Stage, Dior introduces such a moment. Conceived with daring ambition, this new-generation lipstick delivers impact and longevity, defying convention with its unprecedented shine and uncompromising performance.
For Peter Philips, creative and image director for Dior Makeup, the inspiration comes from his own practice. “Whenever I apply someone’s lipstick, there’s this feeling of wow, of cool and sophistication, this empowerment, which is what I wanted to put in this new creation. Rouge Dior On Stage puts you where you’re meant to be: in the spotlight,” he enthuses.
Mirroring the audacity of the lipstick itself, at once powerful and multidimensional, is Dior’s newest beauty ambassador, American actress Jenna Ortega, who embodies the contemporary femininity envisioned by Philips. “I feel absolutely thrilled to be the face of this new chapter of Rouge Dior,” she shares. “This lipstick is all about revealing different aspects of yourself, which is obviously a huge part of my life as an actress. Being able to explore yourself through all the different attitudes and faces that you have to offer is honestly what gives you the most confidence.”

The innovation at the heart of Rouge Dior On Stage is its double‐phase technology, a breakthrough developed within Dior’s laboratories. Inspired by liquid lipstick formulations, this approach unites two phases long considered incompatible. The first, the “ultra-colour” phase, anchors pigments securely to the lips. The second, the “coated shine” phase, blends oils to deliver an extraordinary luminosity.
The result is a formula that offers both radiance and resilience. Colour is locked in place, while light dances across the surface, creating what Philips calls the ultimate make-up result: “a long- lasting shine with intense colour”. Beyond its brilliance, the lipstick’s creamy texture hydrates the lips for 24 hours while resisting smudging and fading.

Rouge Dior On Stage’s spirit of duality extends to its design. The lipstick is housed in a midnight-blue case with a slender silhouette. At its centre sits a mark of quiet rebellion: the reversed CD logo, signalling a departure from convention and the beginning of a new chapter. Philips’ attention to detail is equally evident in the bullet itself, custom-shaped to follow the natural contours of the lips. “The custom-shaped bullet was designed to follow the natural curves of the lips while depositing the perfect amount of formula to enhance the look. Although the formula is rich and creamy, you always maintain full control during application,” he notes.
Under his guidance, the palette has been carefully calibrated to serve a spectrum of attitudes and occasions. The 10 shades range from subtle nudes to commanding reds, browns and bricks. Each is a demi-tone—purposefully not fully saturated—ensuring they reveal a natural radiance across different skin tones. Among them, two shades stand out: 390 Redwood Star is a blue-tone redwood designed to steal the spotlight with its bold sophistication, while 120 Iconic Rose, a rosy nude beige, offers quiet impact with lasting resonance.
Whether under the flash of a camera, through the rhythm of daily life, or in those rare moments when confidence itself becomes the truest form of luxury, Rouge Dior On Stage is crafted for performance that endures—proving that shine can be powerful, lasting, and ultimately transformative.
