美國德州首府奧斯汀（Austin）一間酒吧外周日（3月1日）凌晨發生槍擊案，連同被警方擊斃的槍手，事件一共造成3人死亡、14人受傷。美國聯邦調查局（FBI）表示，案件可能涉及恐怖主義動機，正調查是否與美國近日攻擊伊朗後引發的報復行動有關。
警方於當地時間凌晨約2時接報，指西第六街（West Sixth Street）一帶的酒吧Buford’s外出現槍手。奧斯汀警察局長戴維斯（Lisa Davis）表示，一名男子駕駛大型SUV駛經酒吧時亮起警示燈，從車窗伸出手槍向露台及門外人群開火，其後在附近停車，下車持步槍步行返回酒吧方向繼續開槍。

三名巡邏警員其後在路口與疑犯對峙並開槍將其擊斃。警方其後搜查涉案車輛，未發現爆炸品。
事件中14名傷者被送院治理，其中3人傷勢危殆。事發地點為奧斯汀著名夜生活區，鄰近得州大學奧斯汀分校（University of Texas at Austin），周末期間人流眾多。

多間美國傳媒引述消息指，槍手為53歲迪亞涅（Ndiaga Diagne），生於塞內加爾，2013年成為美國歸化公民。消息人士稱，疑犯犯案時身穿印有伊朗國旗圖案的上衣，並穿著印有「Property of Allah」（真主的財產）字句的運動衫，其車內亦發現一本《可蘭經》。

FBI聖安東尼奧分局代理特別探員多蘭（Alex Doran）表示，在疑犯身上及車內發現的物品顯示「與恐怖主義存在關聯跡象」，但強調調查仍處初步階段，暫未準備公開相關細節。
據報，調查人員亦正檢視疑犯社交媒體帳戶，當中曾出現支持伊朗政權及敵視美國與以色列領導層的言論。
白宮表示，總統特朗普（Donald Trump）已獲通報事件。德州州長阿博特（Greg Abbott）則指，當局將對任何企圖利用中東衝突威脅德州安全的人採取強硬行動。
