Sabatini Ristorante Italiano presents seasonal Alaska king crab delicacies
It’s that time of year again: Alaska king crab, at its sweetest and most succulent, takes pride of place on the table. Sabatini Ristorante Italiano is marking the season across both its homes, The Royal Garden and IFC Mall, with a new menu dedicated to this prized delicacy.
At The Royal Garden, executive chef Claudio, and at IFC Mall, chef de cuisine Marco, have devised a series of dishes that showcase the shellfish in true Italian fashion. Among the highlights are deep-fried Alaska king crab croquettes, golden and crisp on the outside, yielding to a generous filling of tender, flaky crab within. Lightly seasoned to let the natural sweetness of the meat shine, each bite is paired with a refreshing salad of ripe tomatoes and aromatic basil, dressed with restraint to keep flavours bright and balanced. It’s a dish that speaks to Sabatini’s enduring philosophy: letting the finest ingredients do the talking, with a little culinary flourish to make them sing.

Sabatini Ristorante Italiano continues its seasonal celebration of Alaska king crab with dishes that bring Italian craft and oceanic flavours into perfect harmony.
Among the standouts is the house-made capuné, an elongated, shell-shaped pasta crafted daily in the kitchen. Cooked to a perfect al dente bite, it is paired with sweet, briny morsels of Alaska king crab and the lush creaminess of sea urchin. The interplay is elegant: the crab’s clean sweetness lifted by the uni’s profound umami depth, creating a dish that is both refined and deeply flavourful.
Equally enticing is Sabatini’s reinterpretation of corn soup. Here, a silky base of sweet corn is enriched with generous flakes of king crab, its succulence punctuated by a scatter of vivid crab roe. The result is a bowl that balances sweetness and savour with subtle ocean notes, comforting yet undeniably luxurious.
Adding to the ambience, live music performances set the tone for dinner service, taking place from Wednesday to Sunday at The Royal Garden (7.30pm to 10.30pm) and Tuesday to Saturday at ifc mall (7pm to 9.45pm).
Alaska king crab is available now for a limited time. Reservations are recommended.
