ระวังข่าวปลอม! ทภ.2 แฉกัมพูชาใช้ทุ่นระเบิดทำร้ายฝ่ายไทย พร้อมสร้างเฟคนิวส์หวังเบี่ยงเบนความสนใจ
วันที่ 16 ส.ค.68 ศูนย์ปฏิบัติการกองทัพภาคที่ 2 สรุปสถานการณ์การสู้รบตามแนวชายแดนไทย-กัมพูชาประจำวันที่ 16 สิงหาคม 2568 (ณ เวลา 14.00 น.)
สถานการณ์โดยรวม
ฝ่ายไทยเชิญคณะทูตต่างประเทศลงพื้นที่ชายแดน
กระทรวงการต่างประเทศร่วมกับ กองทัพบก และกองทัพภาคที่ 2 ได้นำคณะทูตจากประเทศภาคีอนุสัญญาฯ ตลอดจนประเทศ และองค์กรผู้สนับสนุนการเก็บกู้ทุ่นระเบิด 33 ประเทศ ลงพื้นที่ชายแดนด้านกองทัพภาคที่ 2 เพื่อให้ได้รับทราบข้อเท็จจริง และเห็นหลักฐานเชิงประจักษ์ว่า ฝ่ายกัมพูชามีการใช้ทุ่นระเบิดทำร้ายฝ่ายไทย และมีความเข้าใจที่ถูกต้องต่อสถานการณ์ ที่เกิดขึ้น ซึ่งเป็นประเด็นที่รัฐบาลให้ความสำคัญอย่างยิ่ง ทั้งนี้ คณะทูตต่างประเทศได้แสดงความเข้าใจในข้อเท็จจริง และจะนำข้อมูลไปรายงานต่อรัฐบาลของตน รวมถึงเผยแพร่ความจริงต่อสาธารณชนต่อไป
กัมพูชานำผู้ช่วยทูตทหารเข้าพื้นที่เสี่ยงภัยช่องอานม้า
พื้นที่ช่องอานม้าเป็นพื้นที่ที่มีความล่อแหลมและยังคงมีอันตรายจากสรรพาวุธที่ยังไม่ระเบิดของฝ่ายกัมพูชา โดยฝ่ายไทยได้จัดชุดเก็บกู้และทำลายวัตถุระเบิด (EOD) ปฏิบัติการตรวจสอบและเก็บกู้ทุ่นระเบิดในพื้นที่อย่างต่อเนื่อง อย่างไรก็ตาม ฝ่ายกัมพูชามิได้ให้ความร่วมมือ อีกทั้งเมื่อวันที่ 15 ส.ค.68 ยังได้นำคณะผู้ช่วยทูตทหารเข้ามาในพื้นที่เสี่ยงภัยดังกล่าว ซึ่งถือเป็นการนำบุคคลต่างชาติไปเผชิญอันตราย และอาจเข้าข่ายการใช้คณะผู้ช่วยทูตทหารเป็นโล่มนุษย์
กรณีข่าวอ้างการยึดพื้นที่ซำแตและปลดธงชาติไทย
ตามที่ปรากฏข่าวสารในสื่อออนไลน์ เมื่อวันที่ 15 สิงหาคม 2568 ฝ่ายกัมพูชาอ้างว่าสามารถ ยึดพื้นที่ ทำลายถนน และปลดธงชาติไทยในพื้นที่ตามแนวชายแดนได้นั้น จากการตรวจสอบข้อเท็จจริงพบว่า พื้นที่ดังกล่าวอยู่บริเวณหมู่บ้าน เดโช เบาะสะเบา อยู่ตรงข้ามช่องซำแต ห่างจากแนวชายแดนประมาณ 500 เมตร ฐานเสาธงที่ปรากฏในสื่อนั้นคาดว่าเป็นเสาธงของหน่วยทหารกัมพูชาเอง แต่มีการตัดต่อภาพให้คล้ายเป็นธงชาติไทย จึงขอยืนยันว่า ข่าวดังกล่าวไม่เป็นความจริง แต่เป็น “ข่าวปลอม (Fake News)” ที่ถูกสร้างขึ้นเพื่อเบี่ยงเบนความสนใจและลดกระแสกดดันภายในประเทศเท่านั้น
ประเด็น fake news ที่มีการอ้างว่าฝ่ายไทยใช้สารพิษ
ตามที่ปรากฏข้อมูลบิดเบือนจากสื่อกัมพูชา กล่าวหาว่าฝ่ายไทยมีการใช้อาวุธเคมีและสารพิษในการปฏิบัติการทางทหาร โดยมีการเผยแพร่ภาพเครื่องบินที่ถูกกล่าวหาว่าปล่อยสารพิษ ภาพทหารกัมพูชาสวมหน้ากากป้องกันสารเคมีประเภทต่าง ๆ รวมทั้งภาพปลอกกระสุนฟอสฟอรัส ภาพศพทหาร ในสภาพเน่าเปื่อย ตลอดจนการอ้างอิงนักวิชาการต่างชาติด้านสารพิษเข้ามาตรวจสอบ
ทภ.2 ขอยืนยันอย่างหนักแน่นว่า ข้อกล่าวหาดังกล่าวเป็นความเท็จโดยสิ้นเชิง ไทยมิได้และจะไม่มีวันใช้อาวุธเคมีหรือสารพิษใด ๆ เนื่องจากประเทศไทยเป็นภาคีอนุสัญญาห้ามอาวุธเคมี (Chemical Weapons Convention : CWC) และให้ความเคารพต่อหลักมนุษยธรรมและกฎหมายระหว่างประเทศมาโดยตลอด
การกระทำของฝ่ายกัมพูชาที่เผยแพร่ข่าวปลอมอย่างต่อเนื่องนั้น เป็นพฤติกรรมที่มุ่งหวังบิดเบือนข้อเท็จจริง เพื่อสร้างความหวาดกลัวในหมู่ประชาชนตนเอง และใช้เป็นเหตุผลอ้างอิงในการอพยพ พลเรือนออกจากพื้นที่ชายแดน ทั้งนี้ เหตุการณ์ลักษณะเช่นนี้ได้ปรากฏให้เห็นซ้ำแล้วซ้ำเล่าในทุกครั้ง ก่อนที่กัมพูชาจะดำเนินการทางทหารกับฝ่ายไทย จึงเห็นได้อย่างชัดเจนว่า การบิดเบือนข่าวสารในครั้งนี้ มิใช่เพียงการสร้างกระแสในสังคม แต่เป็นการ ปูทางเพื่อเตรียมการเผชิญหน้าทางทหาร ซึ่งกองทัพไทยจะติดตามสถานการณ์อย่างใกล้ชิด และขอยืนยันว่าประเทศไทยพร้อมปกป้องอธิปไตยและความมั่นคงของชาติอย่างถึงที่สุด
การดำเนินงานด้านจิตอาสา
ศอ.จอส. พระราชทาน มทบ.23 รวมน้ำใจชาวขอนแก่นส่งต่อชายแดนสุรินทร์ และศรีสะเกษ กำลังพลจิตอาสาพระราชทาน ร่วมนำสิ่งของจาก “จุดประสานส่งต่อกำลังใจให้ชายแดนจากประชาชนชาวขอนแก่น อาทิ เครื่องอุปโภคบริโภค ผ้าใบ อุปกรณ์เครื่องใช้ส่วนตัว ยาสามัญประจำบ้าน หน้ากากอนามัย และอุปกรณ์ปฐมพยาบาลเบื้องต้น ส่งมอบไปยังทหารชายแดนไทย-กัมพูชา
และ ศอ.จอส. พระราชทาน มทบ.25, ศอ.จอส. พระราชทาน จ.สุรินทร์ รับมอบสิ่งของและส่งน้ำใจช่วยแนวหน้า ร่วมรับมอบสิ่งของเครื่องอุปโภคบริโภคจากชาว จ.สมุทรสงคราม น้ำมันหอมละเหย สิ่งของอุปโภคบริโภค จากผู้บังคับการตำรวจภูธรจังหวัดสุรินทร์ โดยมี จิตอาสา 904, จิตอาสาพระราชทาน และประชาชนจิตอาสา ร่วมขนย้ายสิ่งของบริจาค ณ ค่ายวีรวัฒน์โยธิน จ.สุรินทร์

Border Situation between Thailand and Cambodia
16 August 2025, 1400 hrs
The 2nd Army Area Operation Center, Royal Thai Army, would like to provide a comprehensive update on the situation along the Thailand–Cambodia border as of 1400 hrs, 16 August 2025.
1. Visit of Foreign Diplomats to the Border Area
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in cooperation with the Royal Thai Army and the 2nd Army Area, organized a visit by diplomats from 33 countries. These included States Parties to the Mine Ban Convention, donor nations, and supporting organizations.
The purpose was to allow the diplomats to observe first-hand evidence that Cambodia has used landmines against Thai personnel. During the visit, the Thai side presented clear proof of landmine deployment and explained the current security situation.
The diplomats expressed understanding of the facts presented. They stated they would report this information to their respective governments and share it with the international community, ensuring that the truth will be widely recognized.
2. Cambodian Actions at Chong An Ma
The area of Chong An Ma (ช่องอานม้า district) remains hazardous, with the presence of unexploded ordnance and landmines placed by Cambodian forces. Thai Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) teams have been conducting continuous clearance operations in the area.
Despite this, Cambodia has failed to cooperate. Furthermore, on 15 August 2025, Cambodia escorted a group of foreign Military Attachés into this dangerous zone. This act not only placed foreign personnel at risk but may also constitute the deliberate use of Military Attachés as human shields, in violation of international norms.
3. False Claim of Territory Seizure and Flag Removal
On 15 August 2025, online media from Cambodia reported that Cambodian troops had seized territory along the border, destroyed roads, and removed the Thai national flag.
Verification by Thai authorities confirmed that the area in question is Decho Boas Bao village, located approximately 500 meters inside Cambodian territory opposite Chong Sam Tae (ช่องซำแต district). The flagpole shown in the circulated images was in fact a Cambodian military flagpole, edited to appear as if it carried the Thai flag.
Thailand firmly rejects this disinformation and confirms that the report is Fake News — created solely to mislead the public and distract from internal pressures within Cambodia.
4. Disinformation on Chemical Weapons
Cambodian media outlets have also spread false allegations accusing Thailand of using chemical weapons. Their fabricated reports included:
• Images of aircraft allegedly dispersing toxic substances.
• Soldiers wearing chemical protective masks.
• Shell casings claimed to be phosphorus munitions.
• Images of decomposed corpses presented as victims of chemical agents.
The 2nd Army Area strongly emphasizes that these allegations are entirely false. Thailand has never used and will never use chemical weapons or toxic substances.
Thailand is a State Party to the Chemical Weapons Convention (CWC) and has always abided by humanitarian principles and international law.
The repeated use of such disinformation by Cambodia is a deliberate attempt to distort facts, instill fear among its own citizens, and justify evacuations from border areas. Historically, such tactics have been employed by Cambodia prior to launching military provocations. Thailand will continue to closely monitor the situation and reaffirms its unwavering commitment to protect national sovereignty and security.
5. Volunteer Spirit Activities
The Royal Thai Volunteer Centers continue to mobilize nationwide support for border troops.
• In Khon Kaen province, Royal Thai Volunteers delivered essential goods — including food, drinking water, tarpaulins, personal supplies, basic medicines, masks, and first-aid kits — to Thai soldiers deployed along the Surin province and Sisaket province borders.
• In Surin province, the Royal Thai Volunteer Center of 25th Military Circle, in cooperation with Royal Thai Volunteer Center, Surin province, received and distributed donations. Contributions included food, essential items, and herbal oil from citizens of Samut Songkhram province, as well as supplies from the Commander of Surin Provincial Police.
These activities were carried out by Royal Volunteers (จิตอาสา 904), Royal Thai Volunteers, and community volunteers, who together delivered and transported the donations to Veerawatyothin Camp, Surin province.
