Thai F-16s launch second strike on Cambodian military targets
At about 5pm today, the Royal Thai Airforce launched a second round of strikes on Cambodian military targets, south of the Ta Muen Thom ancient temple in Phanom Dongrak district of Surin province.
Four F-16 fighters took part in the mission, as part of the “Yuttha Bodin” operation. The planes hit their targets and returned safely to base, according to a Thai military sources.
This morning, six F-16s carried out strikes on the positions of the 8th and 9th Cambodian army corps, which were reportedly responsible for the artillery and rocket attacks on civilian targets in Thailand, including a hospital in Phanom Dongrak district of Surin, killing nine civilians and injuring several others.
