週四稍早，沙烏地民防部門發布警報，警告聖城麥加（Mecca）、西北部塔布克（Tabuk）地區、紅海沿岸的吉達（Jeddah）與延布地區，以及南部塔伊夫（Taif）地區可能面臨危險。Earlier on Thursday, Saudi civil defence issued alerts warning of potential danger in the holy city of Mecca, the northwestern area of Tabuk, the Red Sea areas of Jeddah and Yanbu, and the southern area of Taif.
