NBA》美專欄作家爆料 Embiid已可上場選擇坐壁上觀
美國體育專欄作家Skip Bayless爆料稱，76人當家球星Joel Embiid，已通過醫療檢查，只是選擇在附加賽不上場。
Embiid在季末因急性闌尾炎，在休士頓打客場時接受手術，76人未給出明確的復出時間，附加賽時他坐在板凳席觀戰。
Bayless指出，根據他的消息來源指出，由於闌尾炎的手術很成功，加上手術時間不長，且恢復時間較快，Embiid已經通過醫療檢查。
Bayless提到，只要Embiid願意，完全可以上場，但他選擇不上場。
76人在缺少Embiid的情況下，仍在附加賽擊敗魔術，取得東區第7種子的席次。
