Princess Bajrakitiyabha battling severe bloodstream infection
The medical team treating HRH Princess Bajrakitiyabha Narendira Debyavati, who lost consciousness due to a cardiac condition in 2022, has revealed that a severe infection has been detected in her bloodstream.
Since August 9, the team has been administering multiple antibiotics, as well as other medication to maintain stable blood pressure.
According to a statement, issued today, the medical team is continuing to provide full treatment and are closely monitoring the princess’s condition.
She has been receiving treatment at King Chulalongkorn Memorial Hospital since December 15, 2022.
The princess is the eldest daughter of HM the King and Princess Soamsawali.
