Exclusive ‘Sommallset’ dinner experience
Somm at The Landmark Mandarin Oriental has introduced a new set dinner experience that brings its sommelier-led philosophy to the fore. The ‘Sommallset’, offers a rotating menu that draws on peak seasonal ingredients and pairs them with thoughtfully selected wines.
Highlights include Bellota ham paleta, a salad of roasted Jerusalem artichoke with hazelnut and preserved black winter truffle, and mains such as yellow chicken with green asparagus and tarragon sabayon, or aromatic toothfish crusted with Nora pepper and parsley breadcrumbs. The menu changes regularly, keeping things fresh for repeat visits.
The wine list, curated by Somm’s expert team, features a selection of house red and white wines that rotate with the seasons. Guests can opt for a 75-minute free-flow of pre-selected sparkling, white, and red wines for an additional HK$250 per person. Notable bottles include the 2020 Jurtschitsch Reid Loiserberg grüner veltliner from Austria and the 2020 Luce Lucente Super Tuscan.
Available daily from 5pm to 9.30pm, the Sommallset dinner also comes with a sweet midweek bonus: on Wednesdays, guests will receive the signature chocolate soufflé at no extra charge.
