Limited to 10 pieces, each ceramic case is meticulously machined and hand-finished to ensure every angle, curve, and surface are perfect. Sapphire crystal lends it unprecedented transparency, from the red-tinted dial to the caseback that offers an unobstructed view of Calibre TH81-00 with a rotor in the Tag Heuer shield shape. Following in the tradition of its past split-seconds breakthroughs, including the 11.402 stopwatch for Scuderia Ferrari and the quartz chronographs from the 1990s, Calibre TH81-00 is one of Tag Heuer’s most advanced chronograph movements as well as one of its lightest.

The chronograph counters are designed to evoke the race track, complete with white and yellow starting grid positions and official F1 typography. Another reference to Formula 1 is the phrase below these counters: “Lights out & away we go”, famously coined by British commentator David Croft.
The watch comes with a white calfskin strap with textile embossing and red hand-stitching.
