Graffiti and garnishes
Rosaria and Rose
Alex
The Green Door, Hong Kong’s speakeasy hidden behind a green door, unveils volume II of its cocktail menu with a rebellious splash of colour from local street artist Lousy, whose neon-drenchedKiss Face motifs and graffiti have left their mark from Causeway Bay to Yuen Long. Known for blending punk rock, manga and cave-painting influences, Lousy brings that same anarchic energy to the bar’s latest drinks list.
Split into two sides, the menu offers reimagined classics on one, and daring concoctions on the other. Think Rosaria and Rose, two takes on the Rosita, with the latter layered with prawn oil, caviar and Korean doenjang (soybean paste). Elsewhere, Charlie stirs Da Hong Pao tea and sesame into a bamboo milk tea, while Alex pairs masala chai and kiwi yoghurt with a hazelnut bonbon from Conspiracy Chocolatier. The food menu has expanded too: the chopped cheese sub and salmon lox with shichimi togarashi give the cocktails a run for their money.

An affair to sip
The Cinq á Sept aperitivo experience at La Petite Maison (LPM)
La Petite Maison is bringing a playful slice of the French Riviera to Central with its new Cinq á Sept aperitivo experience, launching May 8. Running weekdays from 5pm to 7pm, this tongue-in-chic affair channels the spirit of Provence’s drinking hour with curated cocktails at HK$78, each served with a complimentary bite. Expect cheeky creations like Lui, a smoky mezcal and sauternes mix served with a lipstick-smeared napkin, or La Sucette, a strawberry yoghurt-washed vodka fizz finished with a rosé wine lollipop. Bar snacks lean into Mediterranean comfort, from garlic butter snails to salted cod croquettes. A little romance with your aperitif? Entirely optional.
