Exclusive guest shifts at Alibi - Wine Dine Be Social this July

Alibi – Wine Dine Be Social at Cordis, Hong Kong is set to turn up the tempo this July with two exclusive guest shift nights that promise bold flavours and serious cocktail credentials.

On July 13, Alibi welcomes Sufian Mahmoud and Gedalya Rianto—beverage manager and bar manager, respectively—of Artesian Bar at The Langham, Jakarta. A sibling to the iconic London bar of the same name, Artesian Jakarta is known for its refined yet adventurous take on mixology. For one night only, the duo will bring their signature flair to Hong Kong, shaking up a bespoke menu of Jakarta-inspired cocktails featuring premium pours from Rémy Martin, St-Germain, and Cointreau.

Then on July 24, award-winning mixologist Shakira Huang—founder of Wuhan’s acclaimed bar STG—takes centre stage. Known for her boundary-pushing style and nuanced flavour profiles, Huang’s guest shift promises to be an unforgettable showcase of contemporary Chinese cocktail artistry.

Then on July 24, 2025, Alibi’s head mixologist Jennifer Ho will join forces with award-winning bartender and STG founder Shakira Huang for a dynamic four-hands guest shift. A true trailblazer in the industry, Shakira is celebrated for her bold creativity and entrepreneurial drive. She made history as the first female bartender to win the Chivas Masters Competition China in 2022, and was honoured with the 2023 DRiNK Awards Central Region Entrepreneurship Award. Her list of accolades also includes being named China Champion of the Cointreau Queen Cocktail Competition in 2018.
