2025年年度澳洲地理自然攝影師（AGNPOTY）「自然中的動物」獎項入圍作品。©Chris Young／Australian Geographic Nature Photographer of the Year2025年「年度澳洲地理自然攝影師」得獎名單近日揭曉，除各獎項首獎，許多進入決選可惜未獲獎的「遺珠」也很吸睛，一張2尾澳蛇蜥惡鬥後勝者生吞敗者，敗者的斷尾仍遺留在戰場上的照片，令人驚心；另一張照片一對甘甘鳳頭鸚鵡母子，媽媽被頑皮兒子煩到受不了，用嘴「揪頭髮」體罰，令人莞爾。
年度澳洲地理自然攝影師（Australian Geographic Nature Photographer of the Year，AGNPOTY）攝影獎，由南澳博物館（South Australian Museum）主辦，本文照片獲主辦單位授權刊登。
澳洲攝影師克里斯楊（Chris Young）的照片「公路屠殺」闖進「自然中的動物」獎項最後決選名單，可惜未拿到首獎。照片呈現了2尾澳蛇蜥（Burton’s legless lizard）在殊死戰後，勝者生吞手下敗將的殘酷畫面。
蛇蜥狀似蛇，實為無腳蜥蜴（legless lezard），澳蛇蜥雖無前肢，但仔細看可見其退化、縮小的後肢。與蛇不同，蛇蜥有眼瞼會眨眼，也有明顯外耳洞，無毒腺，舌無分叉。遇到危險、受到驚嚇時，蛇蜥如蜥蜴一樣會尾巴自割，這張畫面可見戰場上遺留敗陣者的斷尾。
2025年年度澳洲地理自然攝影師（AGNPOTY）「受威脅物種」獎項入圍作品。© Charles Davis／Australian Geographic Nature Photographer of the Year澳洲攝影師戴維斯（Charles Davis）拍攝的「噢，媽媽（Ouch Mum）」是一對甘甘鳳頭鸚鵡（Gang gang cockatoo ）母子的有趣互動。攝影師說甘甘鳳頭鸚鵡性情溫和，喜歡「擁抱」等肢體接觸，不過照片中的兒子一直鬧媽媽，媽媽被煩到受不了「揪頭毛」教子，戴維斯強調媽媽體罰的動作其實很溫柔，但已明確警告了兒子「你夠了喔」。
